ADISON HADLEIGH

The Illustrated Musings of my daughter.

Happy Birthday!

Adison Hadleigh, the subject of this lovely webcomic, has turned five years old! While this may initially seem slightly less charming than what a four-year-old may say; remember that this year will bring us Kindergarten and losing teeth. Hilarity shall ensue.

Got home late and need to sleep, so no comic tonight. As a peace offering, here’s an actual picture of me and this goofball. She bullies me around a bit.

I’ve never in my life had to justify the magic of impromptu musical numbers until this moment.

She keeps me grounded when I can’t help myself.

Frozen.

Adison got Frozen on DVD as an early birthday present. We are watching it everyday. Brace yourselves, a stream of Frozen-inspired quotes are headed your way.

Here’s an alternate style to mix things up for April Fool’s Day. Though, there is nothing untrue about the quote in this panel.

Friendly Friday! Each Friday I will be posting an Adison comic drawn by another artist, unless we don’t have an artist each week, in which case I’ll just do another one per usual. If you’re interested, shoot me a message with your EMail address and I’ll start building the queue on a first-come-first-served basis, and when it’s your week, you’ll get an Email with a fresh quote from Adison.
This week we’ve got a word of warning from the slightly-trained fighting machine that is Adison. I’m not sure of our contributor’s name but his blog pays homage to a fellow  named Lazlo Falconi. He does post some original artwork, so give it a peek and a follow at http://lazlofalconi.tumblr.com

cookierium asked: Addison is very cool and very smart. Does she know anything in other languages?

Her Grandma is from Ecuador and we’ve brought her to a few Spanish classes, so she knows “hola, coma estas?” but not too much functional Spanish beyond that.

Something we can all probably agree on.

Rebecca Croomes brings us a triumphant declaration from Adison this week. I absolutely love the lettering and composition of the piece. Check out more of Rebecca’s awesomeness at http://rebeccacroomes.tumblr.com
